What are the sideeffects of the treatment?Redness, swelling, bruising, and tenderness. Most commonly patients complain of redness and swelling. As your provider, we recommend the following to decrease your sideeffects post procedure : gently massage the treated area 1-2 times a day for several minutes and drink extra water. The purpose of doing so is to help your body drain the dead fat cells through the lymphatic system. Until tenderness and swelling have resolved, you can sleep on two pillows for elevation to relieve your discomfort, and use ice packs or tylenol to help as well. . There is no restriction or waiting period necessary to resume normal activities post procedure.You may resume your regular activities as soon as tolerated.
